O jogador falou sobre a sua mudança, citando o Fluminense:

– Ela postou sem eu saber. Depois eu pedi para ela tirar, quando eu vi a postagem. O torcedor queria que eu ficasse lá, eles ficaram decepcionados por isso, e eu não vejo em momento algum que eu fiz alguma coisa errada. Fiz uma escolha de vir para o Galo, clube grande, e eu não vejo nada de errado nisso. Eu ajudei o clube (Fluminense) o ano todo, tivemos momentos difíceis, e o torcedor ficou bem chateado por isso, por eu não ficar. E aí acaba tendo a cultura da torcida do Brasil, de ter feito isso.
