Ao Saudações, Luccas Claro fala sobre melhor temporada da carreira e mira vaga na Libertadores: “Queremos muito”
O zagueiro Luccas Claro, de fato, é o melhor jogador do Fluminense na temporada. Com atuações muito seguras, o defensor, a cada partida, passa mais confiança para o restante do time e para o torcedor, que hoje, enxerga o jogador como um verdadeiro líder em campo. Além de se garantir na questão defensiva, sempre com muita personalidade, o zagueiro também vive uma boa fase quando sobe ao ataque. Já são seis gols marcados na temporada.
Vivendo o melhor momento da sua carreira, Luccas Claro conversou com exclusividade com a nossa reportagem e comentou, primeiramente, sobre o maior e principal desejo do torcedor do Fluminense: Ver o clube de volta na próxima edição da Copa Libertadores. Hoje, o Flu, com 43 pontos, é o sétimo colocado na tabela de classificação e briga pela vaga.
“Queremos muito levar o Flu de volta à Libertadores, estamos focados nisso e trabalhando forte, mas também vivendo um jogo de cada vez, dando um passo atrás do outro, para que possamos fazer isso de maneira sólida e contínua. Nosso grupo é unido e muito forte, já demonstramos muitas vezes a força da nossa união. Para garantir essa vaga, não podemos perder o foco no ponto futuro, vamos seguir dedicados e firmes no nosso objetivo.”

Autor do gol de empate na vitória do Flu por 2×1 no clássico contra o Flamengo, Luccas Claro teve uma ótima atuação no jogo, conseguindo segurar o ataque adversário, principalmente o atacante Bruno Henrique. O zagueiro exaltou o momento vivido com a camisa tricolor, que segundo ele, é o melhor da sua carreira.
“Com certeza é um momento muito gratificante. É a melhor temporada da minha carreira e estou muito feliz de poder vive-la num clube do tamanho do Fluminense.
Os números na temporada impressionam bastante. Aos 29 anos, Luccas Claro tem 32 jogos e 6 gols em 2020. O jogador só foi driblado no Brasileirão uma vez em 21 vezes que entrou em campo, tem médias de 2,9 desarmes por jogo e de 0,6 faltas por partida. O zagueiro também não tomou cartões na competição (tomou contra o Atlético-GO pela Copa do Brasil e contra a Portuguesa no Carioca). O defensor acredita que isso é fruto da dedicação e de muito trabalho duro.
“Acredito que tudo se deve à dedicação que colocamos no nosso trabalho. Se você não se dedica e tem um resultado ruim, não pode esperar algo diferente. Meu trabalho é baseado nos meus objetivos pessoais alinhados aos do clube, são por eles que treino todos os dias para poder contribuir o máximo possível em campo.”
Luccas é o artilheiro da temporada entre todos os zagueiros do futebol brasileiro, com seis bolas nas redes. Além disso, caso faça mais um gol, ultrapassará os números de Leandro Euzébio pelo Flu em 2010. O zagueiro, inclusive, concorre ao prêmio de “melhor defensor” no prêmio Bola de Prata da ESPN e também, do próprio Campeonato Brasileiro. No primeiro turno, muitos jornalistas o elegeram para suas respectivas seleções do turno.
“O segredo é muito trabalho, dedicação e repetição. Treino as jogadas aéreas ofensivas exaustivamente para executar da melhor forma possível nos jogos. Temos uma comissão técnica muito competente no clube, que cuidam muito bem de todos nós e nos dão condições de fazer sempre melhor.”
Em 2020, Luccas Claro assinou a extensão contratual com o Fluminense até o fim de 2022. Nossa reportagem perguntou ao jogador o que ele pensaria de uma possível dupla com Thiago Silva na zaga tricolor, uma vez que o ‘monstro’ planeja retornar ao Flu nesse ano. Inclusive, o jogador está perto de bater o recorde do próprio Thiago, maior goleador tricolor da posição em um mesmo ano no século XXI, com oito gols. A resposta do jogador foi a seguinte:
“Sobre ficar, deixo essa parte para os meus representantes. Tenho contrato até o fim de 2022 e estou focado em fazer um bom trabalho até lá.”
Com Luccas Claro em campo, o Fluminense ficou 9 jogos sem tomar gol em toda a temporada de 2020. Foram quatro partidas pelo Carioca, quatro pelo Brasileirão e um pela Copa do Brasil. Hoje, o zagueiro será novamente titular na zaga tricolor para a partida contra o Corinthians. E o Flu contará com a força e frieza do zagueiro na defesa e com os seus gols nas bolas aéreas para ajudar o time das Laranjeiras a sair da NeoQuimica Arena com os três pontos.
