A retomada gradual das Laranjeiras teve início na última segunda-feira, após pouco mais de cinco meses de paralisação das atividades em detrimento da pandemia instaurada pelo novo coronavírus. Entretanto, este retorno acontece respeitando uma série de protocolos e fases.
A “fase 1” foi implementada pelo clube ao longo desta semana e terá uma duração até o dia 20 de setembro. A progressão será definida a partir de reavaliações das autoridades, segundo o protocolo de reabertura.
Sócios, atletas e funcionários que desejarem entrar na sede social, terão a temperatura aferida e serão obrigados a utilizar máscaras. Ademais, apenas 1/3 da capacidade de Laranjeiras poderá ser ocupada. Convidados, visitantes e acompanhantes, no momento, não estão permitidos a adentrar. Por enquanto, a apresentação da carteirinha se faz necessária, visto que o processo de biometria está suspenso.

Nesta primeira fase, os sócios precisarão realizar agendamento prévio por telefone e especificar qual atividade pretendem realizar no clube. Atletas também deverão agendar seus treinos. Confira as outras regras da “Fase 1”:
- A utilização da piscina olímpica só é permitida para os atletas. Sócios só podem usar a piscina de aprendizado e apenas uma pessoa por raia;
- A sala de troféus, vestiário, sauna e espaço para massagem continuam fechados;
- Somente duas das quatro quadras de tênis estão liberadas para uso e não é permitido o jogo com duplas;
- A prática de tiro esportivo está liberada, mas apenas para um atirador por baia;
- Aqueles que desejam caminhar, o campo só está liberado para no máximo cinco pessoas por hora.
A “fase 2” está prevista para iniciar no dia 20 de setembro, conforme o plano de retomada da Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro, porém o funcionamento das escolinhas de esportes se manterá suspenso. Atividades como essa, só devem ter o aval para retornar a partir da “fase 3”, ainda sem data previamente decidida.
