O Fluminense empatou em 2 a 2 com o Barcelona de Guayaquil (EQU), na noite desta quinta-feira (12), em jogo válido pela ida das quartas de final da Libertadores, no Maracanã. Gabriel Teixeira abriu o placar para o Tricolor no primeiro tempo, mas Preciado e Cortez, de pênalti, viraram o jogo para os equatorianos na etapa complementar. Com um jogador a mais em campo, a derrota só não se concretizou graças a uma outra penalidade, a favor do Flu, já nos acréscimos. Fred deixou tudo igual.

O jogo era equilibrado. As equipes pareciam não querer se arriscar em campo. Com um gramado molhado, qualquer deslize poderia ser fatal para os dois lados. Jogando em casa, o Flu bem que tentava se impor, tinha mais a posse de bola, mas não era produtivo. Chegava com relativa facilidade até a intermediária equatoriana, mas dali em diante, ou a bola era espanada por algum adversário ou um tricolor a passava direto para a linha lateral. Do outro lado, o time comandado por Fabián Bustos também não era lá essas coisas. O experiente camisa 10 argentino, Damián Díaz, era quem mais se apresentava para tabelar, mas uma andorinha só não faz verão. Ciscava dali, ciscava daqui e acabava parando na marcação.
Desencanto de Biel
O jogo era tão brigado, que o primeiro cartão amarelo saiu logo aos 5 minutos, quando Molina deu uma entrada dura em Yago Felipe. Chance real de gol mesmo não teve. Tanto é que a primeira finalização mais clara veio só aos 21 minutos, com Yago, mas sem direção. Restava apostar na bola aérea, um dos pontos fracos do adversário e um dos pontos fortes do Flu. Deu certo. Aos 26, Cazares levantou a bola na área buscando o cabeceio de Fred. Na tentativa de interceptar, o goleiro Burrai trombou sozinho com o zagueiro Riveros, e a bola sobrou limpa para Gabriel Teixeira balançar as redes com um toque simples.

Após inaugurar o marcador, o Tricolor cresceu na partida, trocou passes com mais fluidez e esboçou uma pressão. O Barcelona reagiu, mas terminou a primeira etapa sem obrigar o goleiro Marcos Felipe a fazer sequer uma defesa.
Segundo tempo
Com a vantagem no placar, o Fluminense voltou do intervalo com mais confiança e criou duas boas chances em cinco minutos. Primeiro, com um chute torto de Egídio, que poderia ter caprichado mais e, segundo, depois de um lançamento de Cazares para Gabriel Teixeira. O jovem atacante se enrolou com a bola, mas conseguiu rolar para o meio buscando Fred dentro da área. O artilheiro tricolor ficou a centímetros de conseguir a finalização. Aos 11, mais uma boa chance com Biel. Isolado no ataque, o camisa 39 arriscou o chute, acabou sentindo uma lesão na coxa e foi substituído.

Já com Kayky, Lucca e Nenê em campo, o Fluminense dava a impressão de que seguiria melhor na partida, mas o Barcelona não estava morto. Vindo do banco, o atacante Preciado fez questão de apresentar a prova de vida dos equatorianos. Aos 23 minutos, após um momento de liberdade pela esquerda, Martínez cruzou na medida para Preciado atropelar Martinelli pelo alto e empatar o jogo. Marcos Felipe chegou a resvalar a bola. O cabeceio foi bom, mas era defensável. A empolgação do Barcelona tinha tudo para ir por água abaixo depois que Martínez recebeu o segundo cartão amarelo ao dar um pontapé em Samuel Xavier, mas o pênalti cometido por Nino, aos 39 minutos do segundo tempo, fez o jogo virar, literalmente. Aos 42, Gabriel Cortez bateu rasteiro, Marcos Felipe, mais uma vez, tocou na bola, mas não segurou.
Alívio
Quando a derrota já parecia inevitável, não restava alternativa senão um abafa nos minutos finais. Sem muita coordenação, o Tricolor se lançava ao ataque com Fred, Nenê, Lucca e Abel Hernández, que em um lance de esperteza, disputou a bola com Castillo dentro da área e acabou sofrendo pênalti. Após muita reclamação, aos 49 minutos, Fred assumiu a cobrança e livrou o Fluminense de uma derrota sofrida, que poderia culminar muito mais do que em um eliminação.
Próximos jogos
O Fluminense volta a campo no próximo domingo (15) para enfrentar o Internacional, pela 16ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro, no estádio Beira-Rio, às 20h30. Na Libertadores, o duelo decisivo contra o Barcelona de Guayaquil é na quinta-feira da semana que vem (19), no estádio Monumental, sem público, às 21h30.
