Nos últimos dias, o nome do goleiro Fábio voltou a ser ligado ao Fluminense, a diferença para outros momentos, no entanto, é de que desta vez o goleiro acertou sua vinda ao Tricolor. A concretização do negócio teve participação decisiva de Francis Melo e sua equipe, empresário do ídolo Fred e de tantos outros jogadores. Através de uma postagem em seu Instagram, o empresário revelou sua participação na contratação e agradeceu ao goleiro pela confiança no projeto esportivo do clube.
Fábio chega ao Fluminense após 17 anos, 976 jogos disputados e 11 títulos com a camisa do Cruzeiro. O arqueiro de 41 anos chega com o status de grande contratação e a expectativa é de que brigue pela titularidade da meta Tricolor com Marcos Felipe e Muriel. Na noite de quarta-feira (19/01), Francis Melo, empresário que cuida da carreira de Fred, revelou em seu Instagram que atuou na negociação como um intermediário entre o clube e o goleiro. Ainda em sua rede social, o empresário destacou a confiança do goleiro no projeto apresentado pelo Flu e elogiou sua sede por vitórias. Fábio e Fred atuaram juntos pelo Cruzeiro em 2005, 2018 e 2019.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.
