Odair falou com a assessoria do próprio Fluminense sobre o empate com o Macaé. O treinador ressaltou que o time evoluiu em relação o primeiro jogo e que vai continuar evoluindo, e também reclamou da falta de tempo de treinos, seja antes do primeiro jogo, seja agora para a semi-final da Taça Rio. O comandante ainda falou sobre Nenê. Confira:
Segundo jogo que o Flu não faz gol, o que faltou pra converter posse de bola em gol? E essa falta de gol te preocupa?
Faltou tempo de trabalho, para que a gente pudesse até para trabalhar finalizações. Tivemos 8 sessões de treinamento, teve uma ou duas sessões que inserimos essa parte. É uma dificuldade para quem tem pouco tempo de trabalho. Isso necessita de entrosamento, uma parte física estabilizada, os jogadores tem que estar com uma musculatura boa. No primeiro jogo, mesmo com um a menos, criamos algumas oportunidades. Hoje, novamente tivemos posse e controle total do jogo, criamos outras oportunidades. Éramos a equipe com mais gol no campeonato, no Brasil estávamos entre as primieras equipes. É continuidade, progressão e trabalho para aumentar as chances do jogo e convertê-las em gol.

Tão pouco tempo para trabalhar, o que pode ser feito até domingo?
Milagre não existe. Eu acredito em trabalho, progressão, continuidade, entrosamento. Você precisa de tempo para isso. Vínhamos com uma maneira de trabalhar e agora estamos inserindo outros jogadores, então vai demandar tempo, a gente vai necessitar tempo para que esse entrosamento aconteça, para que seja natural. A gente vai progredir. Vamos fazer o terceiro jogo, sem possibilidade de treinar. Vamos ter dificuldades, vamos tentar superar isso e seguir trabalhando para que a gente progrida sempre em relação ao jogo anterior e consiga os resultados.
Falando do Nenê, o que você sentiu dele?
Ele treinou 5 dias, se não me engano. Que progressão se faz com um atleta com 5 dias para treinar? Se movimentou bem, pelo tempo que teve. O gramado aqui torna o jogo mais lento, isso não é uma desculpa, é um fato. Desacelera o jogo, dificulta quem vai propor a partida. Mas isso está dentro das dificuldades que enfrentamos nessa retomada. Não era pra estar acontecendo. Estamos fazendo o nosso melhor, progredimos do jogo anterior pra esse.
Wellington retornou hoje também. O Flu explora muito a velocidade pelos lados. É um indício do que você pretende pro Fred e pro Evanílson?
Temos muitos jogadores de velocidade, cada um com uma característica. Vamos tentar usar todos eles para municiar o Fred e o Evanílson, assim como os meias também. Vamos tentar organizar da melhor forma possível para tentar conseguir a classificação.
