Flu e Bota farão dois amistosos nos próximos dois sábados
O que era uma ideia caminhou para realidade. Fluminense e Botafogo realizarão dois amistosos preparativos ao retorno ao Brasileiro, no intervalo de 25 dias que separam o término do Carioca 2020 do início do principal campeonato do país. As datas, inclusive, já foram definidas: sábados, dias 25 de julho e 1º de agosto, ambos no Nilton Santos. Nesta terça-feira, os clubes já receberam a autorização da Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (Ferj) para a realização das partidas, que serão disputadas às 17h.
Os clubes planejam batizar as partidas de “Taça Gerson” e “Taça Didi”, em homenagem aos atletas ídolos de ambas as torcidas, e celebrarão também os aniversários dos dois clubes. O jogo deste sábado, inclusive, é uma das ações da “Flu Fest”, que comemora os 118 anos do Tricolor, completados nesta terça-feira. O futebol do Bota completa 114 anos no dia 12 de agosto.

Cada clube transmitirá um jogo em seu respectivo canal do Youtube. O primeiro, do dia 25/07, será exibido pelo Fluminense, enquanto o segundo, de 01/08, terá transmissão do Botafogo. Nos dias dos eventos, haverá também jogos entre os times Sub-23 de cada clube.
Os jogos serão realizados com os portões fechados em razão da pandemia. Botafogo e Fluminense planejam a venda de ingressos virtuais para fins beneficentes. Não haverá cobrança qualquer valor destinado à Ferj.
