Com a vitória conquista sobre o Ceará na noite de ontem (15), o Fluminense não tem mais como ser ultrapassado por Corinthians e Santos na tabela de classificação. Dito isso, o tricolor garantiu, ao menos, a sétima colocação no Brasileiro.
Sendo assim, caso termine o campeonato nessa posição e o Palmeiras NÃO vença a Copa do Brasil, o time vai encarar o Ayacucho (PER) se for para a Pré-Libertadores. Caso avance, terá pela frente o vencedor do duelo entre Independiente Del Valle (EQU) ou Unión Española (CHI) na terceira fase. Ganhando essas duas fases, estará classificado para a fase de grupos.
Hoje, o Fluminense ocupa a quinta colocação no Campeonato Brasileiro e está a dois pontos do G-4. O técnico Marcão, na coletiva após a vitória, ressaltou que o elenco quer mais e busca a vaga direta no torneio internacional.
