Roger Machado deve viajar com força máxima para a capital mineira, onde o Tricolor enfrenta o América-MG. Principalmente porque depois o time só voltará a campo na quinta-feira, no Maracanã, contra o Barcelona Guayaquil.
O Flu chega a 15ª rodada sem ter pontuado na última. Isso porque a partida contra o Juventude precisou ser remarcada. Com o adiamento do jogo de volta contra o Cerro Porteño — por causa da morte do filho do técnico Chiqui Arce — o Tricolor jogou sábado (31) contra o Criciúma pela Copa do Brasil e enfrentou o Cerro na última terça (03) pela Libertadores.
Assim, o Time de Guerreiros, que já somava dois jogos sem vencer pelo Brasileirão, caiu para a 12ª colocação com 17 pontos. Por outro lado, o América-MG não vence a cinco jogos. Com 11 pontos, o Coelho ocupa apenas a 18ª posição no campeonato.
