Flunel do Tempo: Com golaço de Leandro Euzébio, Fluminense vencia o Volta Redonda e seguia invicto no estadual
O ano era 2010. Fluminense e Volta Redonda se enfrentaram pela 3ª rodada da Taça Guanabara, no Maracanã. A equipe das Laranjeiras venceu o adversário por 1 x 0, com gol do zagueiro Leandro Euzébio. Com o triunfo, o time, que era comandado pelo Cuca, conquistava sua terceira vitória seguida na competição, alcançando nove pontos na tabela, e brigava pela liderança do grupo A.
A partida teve seu início às 17h (horário de Brasília), num sábado, e a escalação que o técnico Cuca começou o confronto contra o Volta Redonda era: Rafael, Gum, Cássio e Leandro Euzébio; Mariano, Diguinho, Everton, Conca e Júlio César; Maicon e Alan.
O JOGO
O Tricolor das Laranjeiras começou melhor a partida. Ficando mais com a bola e apertando a marcação lá na frente, o Flu abriu o placar logo aos cinco minutos do primeiro tempo. Leandro Euzébio carregou a bola até a entrada da área, e chutou uma bomba no ângulo, sem chances para o goleiro.

Em vantagem, o time das três cores continuou melhor e quase ampliou com Conca. Alan recebeu na entrada da área e tocou para o argentino, que chutou cruzado e passou perto da trave. O Volta Redonda respondeu na sequência com Guilherme, chutando por cima do gol.
Ainda no primeiro tempo, Euzébio quase marcava seu segundo na partida. Conca cobrou a falta, a bola quicou no chão e achou o zagueiro livre, que cabeceou por cima da trave. Depois disso, o Flu chegou com perigo novamente com a bola parada. Escanteio cobrado pelo argentino na primeira trave, Alan ganhou a dividida e chutou rasteiro – a bola tirou tinta da trave e ganhou a linha de fundo.
Outro que teve a chance de balançar as redes foi Júlio César. Depois de passe feito por Conca, em profundidade, o lateral entrou livre e mandou uma bomba da entrada da área, mas a bola subiu muito. A última boa chance no primeiro tempo foi do Volta Redonda com Guilherme, chutando forte do meio da rua para a defesa de Rafael.
Já na etapa final, o Flu manteve a pegada e as melhores oportunidades. Logo nos primeiros minutos, Alan recebeu a bola enfiada e entrou dentro da área, chutando em cima do goleiro. Conca estava querendo mostrar serviço nessa partida. O argentino, além dos belos passes que deu no jogo, quase deixou o dele de falta. Mas o goleiro se esticou para fazer a defesa.
Depois disso, o Tricolor continuou tendo chances de balançar as redes novamente, mas acabou parando no arqueiro adversário. Com um golaço de Leandro Euzébio, o Flu garantiu a vitória e seguia invicto no estadual.
