FLUNEL DO TEMPO – Em 2011, Flu venceu Grêmio com show de Fred
Na tarde deste domingo o Fluminense enfrenta o Grêmio, no Maracanã. Este clássico nacional está recheado de grandes jogos na história. Neste ano tivemos mais uma grande demonstração, na Arena do Grêmio, de uma outra partida épica, vencida por 5 a 4 pelo Flu depois de estar perdendo por 3 a 0 no primeiro tempo.
Mas o Flunel do Tempo está aqui para relembrar outro grande jogo, também vencido pelo Fluminense por 5 a 4.
A partida foi realizada no dia 16 de novembro de 2011, no nosso salão de festas, o Engenhão. Era a trigésima quinta rodada do Brasileirão daquele ano e o Flu disputava a conquista de mais um título.

Fluminense (4–4-2): Cavalieri, Mariano, Gum, Leandro Euzébio e Carlinhos; Diguinho, Valência, Deco e Marquinho; Rafael Sóbis e Fred. Técnico: Abel Braga.
Grêmio (3-6-1): Victor, Mário Fernandes, Gilberto Silva e Rafael Marques; Gabriel, Adilson, Fernando, Marquinhos, Douglas e Lúcio; Brandão. Técnico: Celso Roth.
O jogo
O Grêmio começou a partida com uma defesa muito bem postada e três volantes em campo, – uma marca conhecida de Celso Roth- isso fez com o que o Tricolor ficasse sem ter como atacar e ficou meio perdido na partida, com vários erros de passe na intermediária.
E foi assim que o time Gaúcho conseguiu abrir o placar, após erro na saída de bola aos 16 minutos, do Flu a bola foi para escanteio. Na cobrança, Cavalieri saiu muito mal e não alcançou a bola, ficando fácil para Rafael Marques cabecear para o fundo das redes.
Querendo o gol de empate, o Tricolor iniciou uma pressão no time gaúcho e logo teve resultado. Aos 24, o Flu chegou ao empate com Fred, após cobrança de falta de Marquinho. O camisa 9 se antecipou à Victor e desviou a bola para o fundo das redes. 1 a 1.
O Fluminense ainda foi para os vestiários, no término do primeiro tempo, em desvantagem no placar. No último lance, Marquinhos cobrou falta e desviou na barreira, ficando impossível de Cavalieri chegar na bola.
No retorno a campo, a equipe Tricolor mostrou ficar abatida com o gol levado no fim da primeira etapa e começou a segunda levando pressão do Grêmio. E em um contra-ataque, em lance genial de seus grandes jogadores, o Flu chegou ao empate mais uma vez. Deco lançou de muito longe para Fred, o camisa 9 matou a bola com categoria e chutou forte rasteiro, sem chances para Victor. 2 a 2.
Com o empate, Deco começou a dominar a meiuca. A virada do Flu aconteceu após grande jogada do camisa 20 na região e dando um toque para Rafael Sóbis, livre, na entrada da grande área. O atacante chutou forte e fez um belo gol para o Fluminense aos 16 minutos.3 a 2.
A partida estava aparentemente controlada para o Fluminense, mas chegando aos 30 minutos o Flu teve um apagão em campo e em dois minutos levou dois gols com Brandão e Adilson. O Grêmio conseguiu virar a partida em 3 a 4.
Mas o Flu tinha Fred em Campo, que garantiu a virada Tricolor sendo o autor de mais dois gols na partida. O empate veio depois do pênalti sofrido do Carlinhos, o camisa 9 não deu chances a Victor. E a virada após bate rebate na área, o nosso artilheiro não bobeou e mandou a bola para o fundo das redes. E tudo isso aconteceu até os 35 minutos do segundo tempo, foram 4 gols em 6 minutos e 5 a 4 para o Fluzão.
Mesmo faltando uns 10 minutos para acabar a partida a torcida tricolor e Abel Braga já observavam o relógio pedindo o fim do jogo para o juiz, isso porque o time gaúcho ainda conseguiu uma bola na trave. Mas felizmente esta partida não saiu mais gols e o Flu saiu vitorioso sobre o Grêmio no Engenhão por 5 a 4, mantendo o sonho do título do Brasileirão de 2011 vivo.
