Depois de se tratar em casa, o camisa 9 voltou a treinar no CT Carlos Castilho, mas, inicialmente, vinha fazendo atividades sem cabecear, evitando choques com outros companheiros. A partir de amanhã, ele está liberado para retornar aos treinos com bola.
Fred desfalcou o Fluminense nas finais contra o Flamengo e no amistoso diante do Botafogo. No próximo clássico vovô marcado para esse sábado (01/08), às 19h, o atacante não deverá estar entre os relacionados. A tendência é que ele só volte a ficar à disposição do técnico Odair Hellmann na estreia no Campeonato Brasileiro no dia 9 de agosto, contra o Grêmio em Porto Alegre.
