Luizão torce para Fred alcançar sua marca na Libertadores: “Ele é um craque e merece”
O ex-jogador Luizão é o maior artilheiro brasileiro na história da Libertadores, com 29 gols em 42 jogos. Na última semana, Fred marcou o primeiro tento do Flu no jogo contra o Santa Fe e se tornou o terceiro desta lista com 22 tentos. Em entrevista ao portal ‘Jogada10‘, o ex-atacante, que teve passagem por Vasco, Corinthians, Grêmio e São Paulo, rasgou elogios ao ídolo Tricolor e torce para que ele alcance sua marca na competição.
“Claro que eu fico feliz pelo Fred, e espero que ele alcance outras marcas em sua carreira. Bom, eu tenho esse recorde da Libertadores há mais de 20 anos. E recorde é para ser batido. Se o Fred me passar, não se trata de qualquer um, não é mesmo? Ele é um craque e merece”, elogiou o ex-jogador.
Luizão é bi-campeão da Libertadores. Conquistou a primeira com o Vasco em 1998, com direito a gol nos dois jogos da final, e voltou a levantar o caneco em 2005 pelo São Paulo. O ex-atacante ostenta até hoje seu recorde que dura há anos. Quando atuava no Corinthians, em 2000, Luizão marcou 15 tentos na Libertadores. No Vasco balançou as redes oito vezes na competição, cinco pelo São Paulo e uma pelo Grêmio.
