A venda de jogadores pode ser considerada hoje a maior fonte de renda dos clubes de futebol do Brasil. Com várias instituições vivendo uma situação financeira grave, muitos conseguem “respirar” com a negociação de ativos.
O Fluminense não fica fora disso. Mesmo com os salários em dia, a situação do tricolor não é boa. Contudo, uma pequena quantia financeira irá ingressar nos cofres do das Laranjeiras. Isso graças ao mecanismo de solidariedade da FIFA, que tem como objetivo incentivar os clubes na formação dos atletas em sua base, trazendo uma compensação em todas as transferências internacionais que o jogador fizer ao longo de sua carreira.

O Bahia concretizou a negociação com o New York City, dos Estados Unidos, e acertou a venda do atacante Thiago Andrade, de 20 anos, ao “Grupo City” pelo valor de R$ 10 milhões (US$ 1,8 milhões). Como teve passagem pelo Fluminense, o tricolor terá direito a um percentual da negociação devido ao mecanismo de solidariedade da FIFA. O atacante chegou ao Flu em 2018 e ficou até o início de 2019 (saiu após a Copinha onde foi negociando com o Portimonense-POR, em teoria, até junho de 2021) ficando mais ou menos um ano no clube.
Nossa reportagem apurou uma situação que ocorreu no passado: Antes de acertar com o Bahia, em agosto de 2019, na negociação com o clube português, ainda na gestão Pedro Abad, ficou decidido que o Flu ficaria com 30% dos direitos e os lusitanos com 70%, com opção de compra. Contudo, ele não rendeu o esperado e deixou o clube, perdendo assim esse percentual e esse acordo. A informação foi confirmada pela MPA Sports, empresa que agencia a carreira do atleta.
O jovem se destacou na base do clube baiano na temporada passada, tendo terminado a última Copa do Brasil sub-20 como artilheiro da competição, com oito gols em oito jogos. Teve seu contrato renovado em novembro de 2020 até o fim de 2022.
O time das Laranjeiras receberá aproximadamente 0,7% da negociação de Thiago Andrade, o que representa R$ 70 mil aos cofres do Flu.
Caio Alexandre
Já Caio Alexandre (22 anos), que estava no Botafogo, foi vendido também para a Major League Soccer, só que para o Vancouver Whitecaps em uma negociação de aproximadamente US$ 2,375 milhões (13,1 milhões) paga a vista. O Botafogo ainda manteve 40% dos 80% que possuía, com o jogador assinando até 2024 com os canadenses.
Poucos sabem, mas antes de chegar ao Glorioso, com 15 anos, Caio era da base do Fluminense. Chegou aos 9 anos, desde o pré-mirim, mas foi dispensado aos 15 anos, em 2014, e depois de um teste, assinou com o Botafogo.
Por ter passado esse período no Fluminense, o tricolor tem direito a aproximadamente 1% da negociação (0,25 multiplicado por quatro), totalizando 131 mil reais
Brenner
Venda que aconteceu em fevereiro de 2021, mas pode ser aplicada nessa reportagem. Brenner, ex-atacante do São Paulo, foi negociado com o FC Cincinatti por US$ 13 milhões (cerca de R$ 70 milhões). Contudo, teve uma breve passagem nas Laranjeiras durante seu processo de formação. Chegou ao Fluminense no dia 31/05/2019 e deixou o clube no fim do empréstimo, no dia 31/12/2019. Ficou cerca de sete meses no tricolor e jogou apenas seis jogos.
Ou seja, se aplicando no caso da venda de Brenner, dos 70 milhões, o Flu tem direito aos 0,5% (cerca de 350 mil reais). Contudo, como não jogou uma temporada completa, (jogou 59%), desse valor, o Flu receberá cerca R$ 206,5 mil reais.
Ou seja, no somatório, a venda desses atletas, todos para o mercado norte americano (MLS), representou aproximadamente, 407 mil reais para os cofres do Fluminense. Muito provavelmente, essa quantia deverá ser investida nas categorias de base do clube.
Os casos de Caio Alexandre e Thiago são muito comuns em categorias de base. Atletas que não performaram o esperado na época em que estavam no clube (na categoria em que estavam jogando) acabam sendo desligados. Assim como eles, dezenas de atletas passaram por Xerém e hoje, estão espalhados por diversos clubes no Brasil e não renderam nenhum retorno financeiro ao clube. Na verdade, não são muito comuns atletas despontarem tardiamente a ponto de serem vendidos por uma grande quantia.
Entenda como funciona o mecanismo de solidariedade da FIFA
A cada transferência internacional de um jogador, 5% do valor total será destinado ao(s) clube(s) em que o atleta passou, ao longo do seu período de formação, até os 23 anos. E a divisão é feita da seguinte forma:
– Temporada do 12º aniversário: clube leva 5% (0,25% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 13º aniversário: clube leva 5% (0,25% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 14º aniversário: clube leva 5% (0,25% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 15º aniversário: clube leva 5% (0,25% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 16º aniversário: clube leva 10% (0,5% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 17º aniversário: clube leva 10% (0,5% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 18º aniversário: clube leva 10% (0,5% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 19º aniversário: clube leva 10% (0,5% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 20º aniversário: clube leva 10% (0,5% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 21º aniversário: clube leva 10% (0,5% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 22º aniversário: clube leva 10% (0,5% da compensação total)
– Temporada do 23º aniversário: clube leva 10% (0,5% da compensação total)
Esse percentual, no entanto, é dividido por todos os clubes pelos quais o jogador passou entre os 12 e 23 anos de idade. No caso de o atleta ter ficado até menos que um ano, a equipe ainda assim tem direito ao valor proporcional ao período.
