Presidente confirma movimentação para pagamento e pede apoio da torcida
O presidente Pedro Abad concedeu entrevista aqui no Centro de Treinamento, e comentou o momento do clube. Um dos assuntos mais abordados foi o apelo para que o torcedor deixasse qualquer intriga com a diretoria de lado e apoiasse o time nesse momento decisivo, tanto na Sul-Americana quanto no Brasileirão. Em relação ao pagamento, o presidente confirma a movimentação para a quitação dos atrasados, conforme já havíamos noticiado:
– O prazo sempre é o mais rápido possível e estamos trabalhando para resolver. Se não resolve no dia, resolve no outro. O que é importante é que não é só o presidente que trabalha, várias pessoas trabalham para que isso aconteça. Só que a velocidade nossa nem sempre é a velocidade das pessoas com as quais estamos tratando e por isso gera esse atraso. Mas tenho confiança que isso vai se resolver muito rápido.
Em relação a convocação da torcida, Abad pediu para que se deixasse de lado todas as divergências e que todos focassem no bem maior, que é o próprio clube. Ele abriu a entrevista pedindo apoio irrestrito ao torcedor:

– Pedi a presença de todos porque queria mandar uma mensagem para o torcedor. Sei que as coisas não estão fáceis. Mas estamos vivendo uma semana fundamental para a temporada.Queria pedir ao torcedor que se concentrem e mantenham o foco apenas no clube pelos próximos cinco dias. Os jogadores e o presidente passam, mas o clube fica.
E seguiu:
– As críticas são sempre bem-vindas, mas estamos em um momento crucial. Que nesses próximos dias se esqueçam de tudo que for periférico, que não estiver dentro de campo. Não só quarta-feira, mas domingo também. Vamos apoiar o time. O clube precisa do seu torcedor nesse momento.
