Proposta do SBT por direitos de transmissão do Campeonato Carioca supera a da Globo e emissora fica próxima do acerto
Além de um novo formato, o Campeonato Carioca 2021 deve ter também a transmissão do SBT. De acordo com o portal “Lance!”, a proposta da emissora de Silvio Santos agradou tanto a Ferj quanto os clubes. Canal estava em uma disputa acirrada com a Rede Globo.
Ainda segundo o portal, a proposta do SBT agradou sobretudo pelo modelo mais flexível. A emissora ofereceu transmitir as partidas na TV aberta e através do YouTube, além de criar um canal pay-per-view nos moldes do que fez a Conmebol. Até por isso, o “Lance!” afirma que os clubes teriam ficado animados com a possibilidade de expor suas marcas em plataformas diferentes.
Além do SBT, a Globo e outras empresas disputavam os direitos de transmissão da competição. Mas, as duas primeiras eram tidas como as favoritas por parte da Ferj. O portal, no entanto, não revelou os possíveis valores.

SBT no Campeonato Carioca 2020
Em 2020, a emissora já havia transmitido o segundo jogo da final do Campeonato Carioca, que tinha mando do Flamengo. Esta, aliás, foi a primeira vez que o canal televisionou uma partida de futebol em 25 anos.
Mas, para transmitir o Fla-Flu, a emissora havia se beneficiado de uma decisão da própria Rede Globo, que detinha os direitos de transmissão do Campeonato Carioca.
Apoiado pela Medida Provisória 984, assinada em Junho de 2020 pelo presidente Jair Bolsonaro, que concedia aos mandantes a exclusividade dos direitos de transmissão, o Flamengo, sem contrato com a Globo, transmitiu a partida contra o Boavista pela Taça Rio na FlaTV.
Contudo, a emissora carioca entendeu o episódio como uma quebra de contratual. Uma vez que havia um acordo firmado com a equipe de Saquarema antes da mudança na legislação. Por isso, o grupo de Roberto Marinho optou por rescindir unilateralmente o contrato com a competição.
Desde então, o SBT tem investido forte no futebol. Consquistando, inclusive, os direitos de transmissão da Copa Libertadores da América para o Brasil.
Esse campeonato não tem nada à ver com ó sbt e uma grande besteira dá federação carioca dê futebol só quem tem experiência com o futebol aqui é à Globo é depois à band vai ser uma tragédia
