Ontem, o Fluminense foi eliminado pelo Flamengo nas penalidades máximas, dando adeus ao Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20. O time conseguiu reverter o placar do primeiro jogo, chegou a tirar a diferença mas tomou o gol nos minutos finais e a partida se definiu nos tiros livres diretos. Com o resultado, a temporada da categoria está oficialmente encerrada.
O técnico Eduardo Oliveira utilizou suas redes sociais para agradecer o empenho de todos os envolvidos (jogadores, diretoria, comissão e torcedores) durante toda a difícil temporada do seu time. Foram várias competições, muitos jogos disputados, longas viagens, mas um trabalho muito bem realizado pelo comandante.

O Flu enfrenta o Vila Nova-GO na quinta-feira, no primeiro jogo, valendo vaga para a final do torneio.
