Caio Henrique, o jogador que mais atuou em 2019 pelo Flu
Caio Henrique chegou ao Flu no começo deste ano desacreditado pela torcida tricolor. Hoje, o camisa 19 é titular e elogiado por todos que o assistem jogar em uma posição que não é a sua de origem.
Formado no Santos como volante, Caio Henrique se encontrou na lateral canhota no Fluminense, após ano ruim de 2018 quando atuou pelo Paraná.
O jogador pertence ao Atlético de Madrid e está emprestado ao Reino do Laranjal até o final deste ano.

O Fluminense disputou 36 jogos no ano e Caio Henrique participou de 35 partidas, ficando de fora apenas contra o Volta Redonda na estreia do Campeonato Carioca, em um empate de 1 a 1.
Sua estreia foi na segunda rodada do carioca diante do Americano, na vitória por 5 a 0 sobre a equipe de Campos. Caio Henrique entrou aos 36 minutos minutos do segundo tempo no lugar de Bruno Silva.
A titularidade não demorou a chegar, pois Mascarenhas – titular da lateral esquerda no começo do ano – ficou com caxumba e o técnico Fernando Diniz optou por improvisar Caio Henrique na ala canhota. E desde a primeira partida jogando nesta posição, não largou a oportunidade de ser titular. Na ocasião o Flu enfrentou o Bangu na estreia da Taça Rio e também foi a primeira partida de Paulo Henrique Ganso com a camisa tricolor. Neste jogo, o camisa 19 marcou seu único gol na temporada.
Quando perguntado em qual posição prefere jogar Caio Henrique responde:
“Prefiro jogar como volante, minha posição de origem. Mas jogar na lateral para mim não é novidade porque eu já tinha atuado na base por muito tempo. Mas eu fico feliz de meu estilo de jogo ajudar o técnico Fernando Diniz, o importante é estar jogando e bem para ajudar o Fluminense a conseguir as vitórias”
O atleta de 21 anos já soma 62 desarmes no ano, 1 gol e duas assistências.
Depois de muitas especulações de transferência no Flu, é muito improvável que Caio Henrique saia do tricolor. Pois o atleta tem contrato vigente até o final do ano, por um clube europeu e a transferência para qualquer clube de fora é muito improvável. A negociação com clubes do futebol nacional já não se faz mais possível porque o jogador já fez nove partidas.
Pelo regulamento feito pela CBF, um jogador não pode atuar por outra equipe tendo feito mais de seis jogos na competição por sua antiga equipe.
Caio Henrique retorna as atividades no Centro de Treinamentos do Fluminense no próximo dia 24 de junho, após período de descansos pela da Copa América.
O Fluminense encara o Ceará no dia 15 de julho, numa segunda feira às 20:00 horas, buscando a recuperação no campeonato brasileiro e sair da incômoda décima sexta colocação.
