Especulado no Fluminense, David Duarte já não poderia disputar a Copa do Brasil pelo Tricolor
Cotado como uma das possíveis contratações do Fluminense para a temporada, o zagueiro David Duarte, do Goiás, esteve em campo ontem (12) pela primeira rodada da Copa do Brasil. Apesar da eliminação do time esmeraldino – perdeu para o Boavista-RJ por 3 a 1 – o defensor esteve envolvido nas principais ações da equipe goiana na partida. Aos 31 minutos do primeiro tempo, quando o placar marcava 2 a 0 para o adversário, o camisa 3 cobrou pênalti, mas parou na boa defesa do goleiro Ari. Já aos 20 da segunda etapa – ainda 2 a 0 -, o zagueiro se redimiu do pênalti perdido e diminuiu o placar.
Contudo, no primeiro tempo, o próprio David perdeu um pênalti.
Opinião: Eu achei que ele bateu bem. Foi muito mais mérito do goleiro por ter defendido. E não acho que por causa disso, desmereça sua aquisição.
Ari, inclusive, foi eleito o melhor jogador da partida.

Flu não poderia tê-lo para a Copa do Brasil
Como já disputou a Copa do Brasil 2021 pelo Goiás, caso se transfira de fato para o Fluminense, David Duarte não poderá atuar pelo Tricolor na competição. Isso porque o Regulamento Geral das Competições da CBF, em seu artigo 45, veda a inscrição de um mesmo atleta por dois clubes diferentes na mesma competição. A não ser que o Regulamento Específico da Competição (REC) permita fazê-lo, como é o caso do Campeonato Brasileiro, onde o jogador pode atuar até seis vezes por uma equipe antes de se transferir para outra.

“Art. 45 – A possibilidade de transferência de um atleta de um Clube para outro na mesma competição deverá constar necessariamente do respectivo REC e, em caso de omissão de tal norma, será vedado ao atleta atuar por duas (2) equipes em uma mesma competição.”
Como o REC da Copa do Brasil sequer trata sobre a inscrição de atletas por duas equipes diferentes, o que vale é o Regulamento Geral da CBF. Dessa forma, como já entrou em campo pelo Goiás nesta edição, David Duarte não poderia ser inscrito pelo Fluminense caso a transferência seja concretizada.
Vale lembrar que o Tricolor ingressa apenas na terceira fase da competição, assim como os outros classificados para a Libertadores (Atlético-MG, Flamengo, Grêmio, Internacional, Palmeiras, Santos e São Paulo), além do campeão da Copa do Nordeste 2020 (Ceará), da Copa Verde 2020 (Brasiliense) e da Série B 2020 (Chapecoense).

O zagueiro tem contrato com o Goiás somente até o final do ano e já demonstrou interesse em reforçar o Fluminense para a temporada. A diretoria Tricolor, inclusive, já apresentou uma proposta ao esmeraldino. O clube goiano por sua vez deseja receber uma compensação financeira para liberar o zagueiro de 26 anos.
Não será boa contratação, caso se confirme. Fraco na marcação, sofreu com o “poderoso” ataque do Boavista, fez faltas violentas na meiuca, pois ia ao ataque desordenadamente tentando resolver o jogo atabalhoadamente, levou amarelo por isso. Zagueiro fraco, sou mais Frazan, Higor e penso que é + indicado priorizar a base.
