Olhando para o futuro: Em 17 meses, mais de 60 garotos de Xerém renovaram o contrato com o Flu – Veja todos os casos

Há alguns anos Xerém vem sendo a solução, não só dentro, como fora de campo para o Fluminense. Porém, quando um atleta começa a vingar e a dar alegrias para a torcida, acaba saindo, muitas vezes por um preço abaixo daquilo que se esperava, para que o Flu possa “sobreviver” às adversidades e, ao menos, tentar ficar com as contas em dia. E isso, é uma situação que não agrada nenhum pouco o torcedor. Ao contrário.
Nas gestões anteriores também vimos uma exceção de jogadores contratados para “compor elenco” e que não mostraram ao que vieram. Sem render o que se esperava dentro de campo – muitos contestados antes de sua efetiva chegada – acabaram entrando com processos judiciais, exigindo verbas indenizatórias pela inadimplência tricolor em seus contratos. E hoje, a conta, dessas e de outras tantas ações inconsequentes, chegou. A atual realidade é que o Flu vive com pagamentos penhorados em decorrência de situações como a desses atletas. Ao longo dos anos, vimos isso acontecendo com inúmeros jogadores e a base em si, pouco valorizada. Salvando poucos que se destacaram e renderam uma quantia ao tricolor (exemplos de Pedro, Wendel, Ayrton Lucas, Douglas, Ibañez e João Pedro) nossos moleques acabavam não sendo valorizados e eram pouco aproveitados dentro de campo. O que sempre gerou reclamações nas arquibancadas.

Entretanto, essa realidade parece ter começado a mudar. O Fluminense passou a olhar com muito mais cuidado o seu celeiro de craques. Vimos recentemente a situação de Evanílson, que acabou deixando o clube, Marcelo Pitaluga, que pediu para ir para o Liverpool e de Dodi, que está com as malas prontas para o Japão, que desagradou a todos os tricolores (apesar de não ser da base). Mas esses exemplos parecem ter acendido uma luz de alerta nos corredores das Laranjeiras. Ao longo dos últimos 17 meses, a diretoria tricolor já assinou com as principais promessas da base do clube, a maioria com contratos mais longos.
De todos os atletas que estão na base, e que já podem assinar o primeiro contrato (a partir dos 16 anos), o Flu já fez um novos vínculos com mais de 60 atletas, desde o sub-17 até o sub-23. Alguns nomes, inclusive, já são realidades dentro do time principal, como Calegari, Martineli, André e Luiz Henrique, outros estão sempre presentes, compondo a lista dos relacionados, como Nascimento, Luan Freitas e Daniel, além das promessas Kayky, Metinho, Matheus Martins e outros tantos. John Kennedy e Samuel, duas das maiores apostas para o ataque, também estão de contrato novo e Arthur, a grande joia, já está acertado com o clube, muito embora ainda não possa assinar por questões de idade – o jovem ainda não completou os 16 anos.
Alguns jogadores, inclusive, tiveram o contrato renovado duas vezes nesse período. Vamos à lista:

Até o atual momento dessa reportagem, no total, são 62 garotos já com contratos profissionais assinados com o Fluminense, desde o início da gestão Mário Bittencourt. Isso sem contar as renovações (extensões contratuais) de Matheus Pato, Matheus Cassini e Caio Vitor, todos do Sub-23, até o fim do Brasileirão de Aspirantes, competição que o Flu está na semifinal.
Muitos desses jogadores assinaram um vínculo de apenas três anos, e o curto prazo gera muitos questionamentos por parte da torcida. Mas o real motivo é que a Lei Pelé estabelece que jogadores menores de idade só podem assinar contratos profissionais com clubes a partir dos 16 anos, enquanto a FIFA limita vínculos de no máximo três anos até o jovem completar os 18 anos. E jogadores menores de 16 anos (caso de Arthur, por exemplo) não podem ter vínculo profissional, apenas amador.
A torcida do Fluminense sempre esteve muito interessada na base tricolor, mas talvez esse seja o momento em que as informações cheguem de forma mais abrangente ao torcedor. Hoje, o clube destacou profissionais da área da comunicação para atenderem as demandas de Xerém, o que aumentou o alcance de todas as informações – resultados, jogos, renovações, contratações, feitos e conquistas. Os principais jogos são televisionados e os de menor apelo passam em aplicativos de streaming. Ou seja, hoje, o torcedor pode acompanhar todas as etapas de crescimento e evolução de um jogador, criando assim uma relação de identidade e, principalmente, aumentando a expectativa de vê-lo em campo, atuando no time profissional.
Hoje, o elenco tricolor é recheado de jogadores mais experientes, como Nene, Ferraz, Hudson e Ganso, e mesmo assim a média de idade do elenco profissional do Fluminense é de 26,4 anos. Isso devido ao grande número de atletas mais jovens. No Brasileirão de 2020, já foram 16 jogadores utilizados vindos da base. Além disso, nesse mesmo ano, já foram 11 moleques que estrearam no time principal.
Por fim, vale destacar que a renovação do Miguel, outra promessa de Xerém, ocorreu no apagar das luzes da gestão Abad. Na ocasião, o vínculo foi renovado até o final de 2022, com multa de R$ 152,8 milhões.
